Pakistan: Polio vaccinator shot dead in Faisalabad, Jundullah claims responsibility

LAHORE: Outlawed militant group Jundullah [‘Soldiers of Allah’] claimed responsibility for killing a polio vaccination team member in Faisalabad on Tuesday.

Ahmed Marwat, who claims to be the spokesman of Jundullah, said polio workers would always be on the group’s hit list throughout Pakistan and that it would continue carrying out attacks on them.

Today’s attack — the latest of many on the teams — occurred in a residential area of Faisalabad in Punjab, where workers were immunising children on the second day of an anti-polio drive…

…Pakistan is one of only three countries where polio remains endemic.

I hear polio has made a comeback in Syria — brought by jihadis from Pakistan.

Has civilization peaked?

Pakistan, even under the British, was no great shakes. Islam as the state religion just adds extra crazy.

Allah’s gangsters have snuffed 67 vaccinators since Dec 2012.

What a country. Backward even by Islo-standards.

Me thinks their turbans are twisted a little too tight.

Not that surprising that Islamo-nazis in Pakistan would murder vaccinators. Islamo-nazis are no more than rabid dogs, that must be killed off. What is disturbing is that these war crimes are censored by our liberal media. The liberal media are complicit in hiding war criminality. That’s bad.

Polio is endemic in 3 countries, whence it has spread to others. The three are:
    Pakistan
    Nigeria (mainly the North)
    Afghanistan
