Famous coexistence pic outed as fake

An iconic 20-year-old photograph depicting a Jewish and Palestinian boy embracing each other has been exposed as a staged fake.

The 1993 photo portrayed what seems to be a Jewish and Arab boy with their arms around each other while overlooking Jerusalem, and exemplified hopes for peace in Israel during the Oslo peace process.

But the two youngsters were actually both Israeli Jews — Zvi Shapiro, 11, wearing a skullcap; and Zemer Aloni, 12, sporting a Palestinian keffiyeh.

The photo, taken by American photojournalist Ricki Rosen, was originally shot for the Canadian news magazine Maclean’s and was reproduced countless times.

In an article published Sunday by the Jewish daily Forward, Rosen admitted the image was staged.

“It was a symbolic illustration,” she explained. “It was never supposed to be a documentary photo”…

  • That sucks.

That makes me wonder what else the “photojournalist” Ricki Rosen has fabricated.
He had since 1993 to come clean, more than 20-years and says NOTHING until now?
    The “Kumbaya” is a lie.

This is why you can’t believe leftists the ends justify the means. And lies are completely fine if it furthers the narrative.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will
eventually come to believe it – Joseph Goebbels

Like the little boy saving the little girl recently in Gaza that made all the news was staged somewhere in the former Yugoslavia, but the filmmaker admitted it within the month, not 20 years later.

One of our presidents in Czech republic (Vaclav Havel – a socialist liberal leftie) had a saying:
Truth and Love will always win against Hate and Lies.
….. which is a complete load of BS – it assumes that the positives are on the one side and the negatives on the other, sort of automatically.

The Truth about Hate will always win against Lies about Love – that is the reality. If you lie about it enough, then people will forget the truth, but the only difference is that they will not understand why are they in war when the truth comes calling and the war finally starts.

I always suspected the picture was a fake; I mean in real life the little pali boy would have had a suicide vest or been stabbing the jewish boy.
