Rape Culture Rehab: Rolling Stone Now “Mistrusts” “Rape Activist’s” Account Of Phony University of Virginia Rape

“…In the face of new information, there now appear to be discrepancies in Jackie’s account, and we have come to the conclusion that our trust in her was misplaced. We were trying to be sensitive to the unfair shame and humiliation many women feel after a sexual assault and now regret the decision to not contact the alleged assaulters to get their account. We are taking this seriously and apologize to anyone who was affected by the story.”

  • Well, that must be embarrassing.

This story could have a happy ending if Rolling Stone ends up getting sued out of existence.

Surprise! Attention seeker discovered, fakes abound.

If rape on campus is such a prominent issue, one would think you wouldn’t have to make up stories and lies to garner attention to it.

  • This is unfortunately, not a unique case.

  • Mass hysteria induces ideologues to ignore reality in favor of their delusion.

    • That is exactly what this is, the madness is palpable.

‘Fake but accurate’, ‘speaks of its own reality’ …

    Cheers

In a better world Steve Sailer, who exposed the UVA rape story as fiction (and pretty obvious fiction at that) at Takimag, would have Rolling Stone’s eternal gratitude.

Of course, the MSM never cite the new media. They just steal their work.

Well, there is “truth” and then, a rather long way behind, there are facts. Truth is a Platonic value divorced from facts. Rich white frat boys are evil by definition. A story which proves that is truth. Any facts which suggest otherwise are manufactured be people who are “rape deniers” and morally equivalent to Holocaust deniers (but not those of Muslim origin because we can’t have that.)

Once you understand that the Rolling Stone story makes perfect sense and the people debunking it are obviously Nazis or worse.
