Doubting rape now equals … Holocaust denial?

Slate magazine’s Amanda Marcotte tweeted earlier today that rape denialism is akin to … Holocaust denialism:

  • Amanda Marcotte is utterly crazy and idiotic.

  • Alain

Normal and sane people actually tend to base their decision or opinion on evidence and facts. In the case of the Holocaust the evidence and facts are well documented and in every claim of rape one expects to find the same in order to make a formed decision. The same rule applies to all subjects including global warming. Evidence, proof and facts never interest the agenda-driven which explains the great divide between the two.

Due cause . due process and our entire justice system is methodically being brought into disrespect by these progressive goons. if alinsky’s friend with benefits Hillary Rodham gets in , in 2016 the last few pieces will be in place. A new arrangement will be made, I am starting to wonder if the west has any political will left to fight this movement .

  • Exile1981

Funny because the writers at slate always struck me as the sort to deny the holocaust.

    • ntt1

yeah and being lefty males they are probably the worst when it comes to using and denigrating women its a lefty thing. Another tie to islam right there,

      • Barry the Black Panther

        So accurate

  • Great day for this comment.

Today the UVA rape scandal looks like a fake.

When you reward people for false stories – you get more false stories.

    • Yup and then there’s Lena Dunhams “rape” claim.

      • ntt1

I am beginning to think that was just wishful fantasy.

        • Me too;)

          • Jay Currie

Is there an antonym for “I’d hit that.”

          • ntt1

well there’s “coyote ugly”, where you gnaw your own arm off rather than waken the horror that is sleeping on it

      • Lloyd Snauwaert

It’s almost as if there is some kind of insidious cultural narrative…

  • Frau Katze

So crazy I even considered replying to her tweet, but she would just ignore it.

    • G

Please do. If she ignores it, at least you made the attempt.

I know, I should do it myself, but I don’t do twitter.
First – I don’t want to know what people’s at the moment thoughts are.
Second – I don’t feel like communicating with anybody that badly.
Third – The name “Twitter” sounds vaguely faggy.

      • ntt1

its worse than that. Using twitter makes you a twit, and in the past tense it’s twat. Me? I still prefer the note taped to a brick and playfully lofted through a window. it has an immediate impact that twitter just doesn’t

        • G

          I like it.

    • Lloyd Snauwaert

Maybe…maybe not..ya never know what nerve ya might hit when confronting sociopaths…

  • barryjr

Hopefully this costs all the accusers a few million each. Make the penalty for falsely crying rape equal the penalty for rape.

  • Pete_Brewster

The difference is the Holocaust had thousands of witnesses who lived to tell the tale. A woman scorned or looking for a payday will never be asked to produce witnesses or other evidence against the (white) defendant. If the case is miraculously thrown out, she will never be indicted for perjury.

All of which makes life all the more difficult for those white Christian and Jewish women who are victims of real outrages perpetrated by “non-Asian minorities” and Muslims of all races. Real rapes are usually not reported to law enforcement, and if they are, serious investigations are rare for fear of irritating race-baiters.

There were 1400 witnesses to the Rotherham rapes. Where were Slate and Rolling Stone?

    • “A woman scorned or looking for a payday will never be asked to produce witnesses or other evidence against the (white) defendant.”

Absolutely right, Pete. She will never, under any circumstances, be asked to produce any sort of evidence to back up her claim. This is why every single accusation of rape ever made against a white man always results in a conviction.

(I wonder what would happen if Pete and Amanda were locked in the same room for a month.)

  • I don’t want to comment on Amanda Marcotte because she is a moron but denialism isn’t a word.

That’s just the first thing she got wrong.

    • Lloyd Snauwaert

Denial of reality is where the likes of Amanda exist…we do them no good by allowing their delusions to go unchallenged.

      • Amanda Marcotte is so stupid that not only does she invent words , she invents “facts”.

  • Xavier

I refuse to give Slate my clicks. They’re my only weapon.

Usual disclaimer: rape is terrible, blah blah, blah. But the current rape crisis, especially on campuses, is entirely fabricated. Rapes are at their lowest level ever. The liberals are creating another victimization group out of thin air.

And people like to think they’re victims. It absolves them of responsibility. See also: American Blacks.

    • Pete_Brewster

That’s simply not true. Rape is more rampant than ever. Because the perpetrators are usually diverse and vibrant men, most victims never bother going to the police, who have better things to do than irritate diverse and vibrant communities.

The tales told in the MSM are invariably packs of lies told by women looking for money, revenge, attention or merely absolution from the social consequences of being a slag. Because it fits the MSM narrative, where working-class white Christian men who can’t afford to file libel suits are the source of all that’s wrong with the world, they never fail to find a hack who’ll swallow their story.

  • Hard Little Machine

How does Amanda get dressed every morning without accidentally raping and/or killing herself?
