There is no just reason for that. if you are going to act like a spoiled brat, then just walk off.

    • It’s a bizarre country.

Such a coward attacking a defenceless woman. Disgusting and I hope the woman’s boyfriend or husband caught the jerk outside afterwards and beat the living crap out of him. This reminds me of something that happened when two of my children (one son and one daughter) were in high school. We only found out about it afterwards of course. My daughter was at a party and one of the guys tried to hit on her. She always had a “smart mouth” and fast come-back and told him to get lost. He slapped her thinking he was some kind of macho guy. Her brother who was in grade 12 found out and beat the crap out of the guy telling him nobody messes with his sister. The guy’s parents went running to the RCMP to file a complaint against my son even though other than some bruises the guy was fine. Fortunately the constable looking into it interviewed my daughter and some others from the party who confirmed that the guy had first assaulted her. When my son was interviewed he confirmed what had happened. Thankfully the constable used some common sense and just gave my son a warning saying that it was understandable and admirable what he did to protect his sister but don’t do it again. End result: no charge and complaint dropped.

    • Good for your son, I am not sure the police would be allowed to show such commonsense today.

        Right you are on that.

  • Jason

Charming fellow, wasn’t he? He didn’t even have the grace to look ashamed or embarrassed afterward.

  • James Hamilton

Hitting a helpless woman?? Shameful, disgraceful & flagrant

  • BillyHW

    That’s gonna leave a mark.

  • As appalling as this is, was there anyone holding this douchebag back?

Put that @SShole on the frontlines in Chechnya.

I, too, expected a crew member to rush in and get the male contestant off the stage..

i don’t speak Russian. showed the clip to someone that does the audience members are apparently on the guys side. saying she deserved it.

        • However antagonistic the woman may have been doesn’t excuse this slimeball of a man.

          • AmicusC

depends on your view of equality I guess. if it is something that a man deserved a punch in the face for then according to our SJW overlords I see no reason this woman should not have received the same treatment.

          • Equality has nothing to do with it. It has everything to do with good breeding and common sense. Did this guy expect her to fight back? Probably not which is why he socked her. He’s an @$$hole.

          • AmicusC

actually it does again, and seeing as this is a small clip not the whole incident, if she was a man and did the same things and everyone would agree that a man deserved to be punched in the face then yes it is completely equal and should have happened this way.
we can reframe your question and you decide would she have acted the same way knowing there was a chance she would get punched in the face. typically the answer is no she would have modified her behaviour if she thought se was going to be punched.

          • A man can take a punch. A woman cannot. That’s why people get angry when bullies prey on women. That guy is a bully.

She seems to have annoyed most everybody, but I saw nothing that deserved such a violent reaction.

Russian ‘reality game shows’ can make “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” look like PBS’ Downton Abbey.
These Russians, they are not like us.

I am curious about the “thumbs-up” given to the presenter and the continuation of the programme.
I know I’m a cynic but could it just be that the whole thing was a set up to make what seems an incredibly boring programme more “exciting”? By “set up” I wonder if both the woman and the man were in on it.
