A Story Too Useful to Verify? Rolling Stone’s UVA rape story has sent shock waves — and stretched credulity.

“Erdely admits she set out to find a sexual-assault story at an elite school like UVA. She looked at lots of other colleges first, but “none of those schools felt quite right” in the words of a Washington Post profile of Erdely. But UVA, which Erdely describes in Rolling Stone as a school without a thriving “radical feminist culture seeking to upend the patriarchy,” was just right. As Worth magazine editor Richard Bradley noted last week, the whole thing seems like an adventure in confirmation bias.”

Imagine that, a journalist just makin stuff up!

Phi Kappa Psi should file a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Rolling Stone and the lying bitch. This is a gruesome libel .

    • It seems so, much like the Duke rape case.

      • mauser 98

Sharpton ,Tawana Brawley rape case hoax

  • I agree with Solo712. Lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit every time the left “Creates” a story like this is the only deterrent.

    • Exile1981

Or against Al Sharpton every time he makes up crap to advance his white’s are racist mantra.

  • Like trained dogs barking for a treat, today’s feminists have a Pavlovian response to tales of discrimination.

Then they bitch about the “gender pay gap”.

Feminist studies or math – you make the choice.

    • mauser 98

$100,000 US for a womens studies degree for some

      • Frau Katze

        Not a photoshop?

        • mauser 98

          no.. don’t think so (?)

      • Women’s studies or math, you made the choice.

The schools, and the professors who encourage students to take these worthless degrees should get stuck with the 60K student loan.

Then there will be a lot less of this useless PC intellectual garbage.

Good post, Mauser. A pic is worth 1000 words.

Funny…no mention of the child’s father in this equation. Would it be wrong to assume that a traditional marriage would represent the shackles of patriarchy for this one?

Reminds me of an oldie but a goodie…

A Walmart greeter said hello to a large scowling trailer park sow and her two kids. She just glared at him.

Greeter says, “My, what lovely twins you have!”

Trailer Park Sow says, “What are you – blind or sumpin?! One is 8 and the other is 5!”

Greeter replies, “Oh I’m terribly sorry, madam….it’s just that you’re so f**king hideous that I couldn’t believe you got laid more than once.”

I like that she? he? couldn’t spell loans on the first try.

        • mauser 98

it is hard to tell which.. then again don’t really want to know

          ..spelling?

  • Tom Forsythe

To normal men, even the thought of rape is nauseating, or infuriating. If you leave a rapist unguarded with other criminals, they will beat him to death.

But the feminists have created this image of every man being a potential rapist, with nothing holding them back except for the force of Gloria Steinem’s outrage.

    • mauser 98

Howard Stern once said the only thing Gloria Steinem ever did was get a bunch of ugly women pictures on magazine covers

  • Wow. One can make a movie out of that fiction.

Anyone fabricating these stories should be thrown in jail. Rape is a serious crime, not some ploy for leftist beardy-weirdies to make a spectacle of themselves.
