#JianGhomeshi The CBC’s Frankenstein

The CBC were determined to stick with Ghomeshi so long as he was beating up women “just a little”, then cashiered him when they saw the pics.

It’s sickening to note the CBC was ready to forgive Ghomeshi if only he would just act contrite and maybe pretend to get help. However Ghomeshi, unlike the CBC, has principles and being a good sociopath he refused to admit that he may have done anything wrong.

Ghomeshi is the CBC’s creation, a Frankenstein monster of their own making.  The CBC is a foreign culture and any talk that suggests they are representative of Canadian values is bunk.

New – As I said above, the CBC were happy to have Ghomeshi stay on so long as there was no physical evidence – CBC: Evidence of ‘physical injury to a woman’ spurred Ghomeshi firing

“After viewing this graphic evidence, we determined that Jian’s conduct was a fundamental breach of CBC’s standard of acceptable conduct for any employee. Treating all people with respect, dignity and fairness is fundamental to our relationship with the Canadian public and contributes to a safe and healthy work environment that promotes engagement, openness and transparency,” Ms. Conway explained.

“Jian’s conduct in causing physical injury to a woman was inconsistent with the character of the public broadcaster, was fundamentally unacceptable for any employee, was likely to bring the reputation of his fellow employees and CBC into disrepute and could not be defended by CBC. As such, we took immediate steps to remove Jian from the workplace and terminated his employment on October 26.”

Wait there’s moreJian Ghomeshi showed CBC a video of bondage, beating: sources

Videos of bondage and beating during sexual activities involving Jian Ghomeshi were presented by the former CBC host to his bosses late last week, sources say.

“CBC viewed scenarios where Jian Ghomeshi asks, for example, a woman to do something and she does it,” a source close to the matter told the Star. The source said Ghomeshi was trying to show “how bruising could happen and it could still be consensual.”

According to sources, Ghomeshi was afraid that the story of his alleged activities was about to break and he was trying to convince the CBC that everything he had done in his sex life was consensual.

This is sick making, just think we paid big time to craft Ghomeshi’s defense – from the Star article above, it appears that the CBC hired Navigator jointly with Ghomeshi to craft a response to any leaks.

The crisis firm Navigator was hired, working for both CBC and Ghomeshi. From the start, sources say, Ghomeshi said that the Twitter posting and other allegations he was aware of were the work of a jilted ex-girlfriend.

Ghomeshi dumped by his agency

“The Agency, a live booking firm, is the latest organization to distance itself from disgraced radio host Jian Ghomeshi.

In a brief statement on Friday, the Toronto-based company, which describes itself as “the world’s leading live music booking agency,” announced that “they are no longer the agent of representation” for Ghomeshi.”

More Ghomeshi creepiness… worth noting is how Ghomeshi’s behavior was an open secret at CBC

“So, did Jian Ghomeshi try to sleep with you?”

This was the first question the then-Director of Current Affairs for CBC Radio in my hometown asked me the first day I got back from a 6-week unpaid internship at Q in Toronto. Her question, asked in front of a small group of co-workers in an open newsroom, elicited gales of laughter from all assembled. Because, you know, back then, it was funny what a reputation Jian (or JG, as he was known in Q circles) had for being a total sleazebag.”

Oh! Oh! Jian Ghomeshi may have lost the last chip he had to play in his defence, lawyer says

“By getting out last Sunday ahead of the news breaking about his alleged violence and harassment against women, Ghomeshi had the opportunity to shape the narrative, all in the legally privileged, libel-proof form of a statement of claim that viciously attacked the CBC.

It was a legally ill-founded claim (since a unionized employee like Ghomeshi has no standing to sue an employer). But it would also have had the impact of scaring off potential complainants who might be intimidated by Ghomeshi’s aggressive litigiousness, not to mention the prospect of being outed — truthfully or not — in his version of events as willing BDSM participants.

But the gamble didn’t pay off. More accusers defiantly stepped forward, his left-wing supporters like Judy Rebick and Elizabeth May scattered for cover, the social media dialogue turned against him, and now he finds himself abandoned even by his crisis-PR firm, Navigator — a sure sign that worse is coming.”
