The Evil of Multiculturalism

Recent revelations of pedophile gangs in Rotherham, England, demonstrate the strange symbiosis of the two most destructive ideologies in the world today.

An inquiry revealed that at least 1,400 white girls in the northern city, as young as 11, were raped and trafficked by mainly Pakistani men from 1997 to 2013.

Speaking on CBC Radio, Husain Haqqani, Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States, said the perpetrators grew up with “anti-Western hatred” fuelled by “extremist Islamist” ideology.

“For these boys in England, the Western woman is not even a human person,” Haqqani said. “She’s a kafir or a non-believer.” He described their mindset: “They think they have a God-given right to prevail in the world and they can slaughter other human beings for having a different point of view.”

Even more disturbing was the mindset of the social workers, police and councillors in Rotherham. The inquiry found that they had turned a blind eye to the abuse for years because they feared being labelled racist. Children who went to them for help were turned away when they described the perpetrators.

The same knee-jerk political correctness can be observed with every Islamist atrocity. Rather than condemn Islamic fanaticism, many Westerners obfuscate, saying that Islamic State (or ISIS) isn’t really Islamic; that redneck Christians are just as bad; that all Muslims condemn terrorism…
