Many in Pakistan shun Nobel winner Malala

They now claim the youngest Nobel laureate in history, but many Pakistanis view Malala Yusafzai’s award with suspicion and contempt.

Dr. Abdus Salam, who received the Nobel Prize in physics in 1979, has also been disowned by many Pakistanis for being an Ahmadi Muslim.

Malala herself lives in exile due to threats of more violence and retribution.

The Taliban have made it clear that in their twisted view of the world, her message women have a right to education is unIslamic and must be opposed at all costs.
