Islamic State fire rockets on Syrian border town

There have been heavy clashes on the Turkish Syrian border as Islamic State militants continue to shell Kurdish towns in the area. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the extremists fired at least 10 rockets Sunday on the town of Kobane, also known as Ayn Arab.

The militants are also firing tank shells and mortars as they try to break the Kurds’ hold on the town…

This town is right on the Turkish border. The Turks are doing…? Erdogan remains deeply suspicious of the Kurds. Yesterday he said that the outlawed PKK (Kurdish Worker’s Party) was as bad as ISIS in Turkey’s view.
