Civilization disappearing: Sky News apologises after reporter rifles through luggage of MH17 victims live on air

Sky News has apologised after going through the luggage of passengers killed aboard MH17 live on air.

Colin Brazier pulled the camera into one of the many suitcases that remain strewn across the scene of the crash in eastern Ukraine as the 298 dead bodies are moved into morgues.

He then picked up and surveyed items one by one – before censoring himself, saying: “We shouldn’t really be doing this I suppose.”

The broadcast sparked outrage on Twitter, with viewers sharing a clip of it hundreds of times.
