Please do not get me wrong. By absolutely no means do I advocate attacking innocent people for any reason whatsoever. But, although I have not read the details of the incident, I am a little surprised it rates a press release from the federal government of Canada.
I do not see anything described as a possible hate crime on CBC’s website, at least at the time of writing, Friday evening, 6:30 Pacific time.
