Dudley man accused of sending terror handbook to serving prisoner
A Midland man has gone on trial accused of sending a terror handbook to a serving prisoner.
Usman Choudhary posted a book called Join The Caravan to Christoper Weston, an inmate at HMP Swaleside in Kent, a court heard.
Alison Morgan, prosecuting, said the 33-year-old, of Terry Street, Dudley, had “taken a keen interest” in supporting “many individuals” convicted of terror offences in the UK and abroad.
Police who raided Choudhary’s home last December also found “extreme ideology” on a computer, she said
