Israel’s mentality ‘no different from Hitler’s’: Turkish PM Erdoğan as daughter joins Istanbul protest

Esra Albayrak, Erdoğan’s eldest daughter, joined a July 15 protest organized by the Woman and Democracy Association (KADEM) in front of the Israeli consulate in Istanbul. Albayrak voiced her concerns over the developments in Gaza Strip, saying “we are here to show our civilian reaction.”

Israel’s approach to the Palestinians is no different to the mentality of Adolf Hitler, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said, accusing Israel of committing “systematic atrocity and state terror” against the Palestinians since 1948. While he welcomed Egypt’s initiative for a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel, Erdoğan said a cease-fire was not enough and stressed that Israel should “immediately lift the illegal embargo on Palestine.”

“What Israel has been doing in Gaza since last week is not explainable. Israel continues to terrorize. Moving beyond individual terrorism, it’s now committing state terror,” he said, speaking in his weekly address to his parliamentary group on July 15…

In other Hitler references for today: South African official lauds Hitler’s genocide of Jews: The social media manager of an affiliate of the African National Congress, South Africa’s ruling party, posted a Facebook message lauding Hitler’s genocide against the Jews.

The post by Rene Smit, who works at ANC Western Cape, displayed an image of Hitler with the title “Yes man, you were right…” followed by the line: “I could have killed all the Jews, but I left some of them to let you know why I was killing them.” At the bottom of the image was the message, “Share this picture to tell the truth a whole world.”
