Oh! She was just “defending” her organization was she?

Zabeen Hirji is the CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER for RBC! She is the one drives ALL human resources decisions. She wasn’t just defending her organization – she was defending HER decision to replace Canadian workers with workers from India. If you actually believe that Hirji was not involved in the decision process that brought Indian IT workers to Toronto to replace Canadian workers than you have no clue how companies work!

With your reply you have demonstrated that you are either too stupid or too disingenuous to be writing articles for a major paper. Perhaps as a show of its commitment to “diversity” and “inclusiveness” the Star could replace you with a temporary foreign worker from India.

Thank you for your comments. I was aware of the outsourcing issue. Unlike you, I do not condemn an individual for defending her organization. The decision to train Indian workers in British Columbia was not hers.

Thank you also for your attempt to get me fired. It will show the editor how venomous online readers can be.

Carol

I just finished reading your article on RBC’s Zabeen Hirji who you credit with “spearheading” “diversity” at RBC and I am wondering if you are suffering from the onset of Alzheimer’s or have you been living under a rock for the last couple of years?

Anyone who has followed current events over the last year will know that Zabeen Hirji spearheaded more than just “diversity” at RBC. She was the one who spearheaded bringing IT workers from India to Canada to replace Canadian workers. This vile woman even made the Canadian employee’s train the Indian workers that would replace them.

Maybe you think your readers are stupid and will just swallow this “diversity” pablum that you like to dish out regularly? Are Canadians supposed to feel warm inside because RBC is becoming “more diverse” thanks to the temporary workers being brought in from India to displace Canadians?

I am copying Michael Cooke on this email. I know that the Star is desperate to cut costs and I think Michael you might want to give Carol Goar the axe next. Time to bring in some fresh blood! This is why your newspaper business is failing. Your average reader is smarter than your typical writer!

Michael, whatever happened to the “Atikinson Principles”? I thought that the mission of the Star was to focus on terrible injustices such as RBC’s bringing in foreign workers to replace Canadian workers? Instead you are devoting a column celebrating the woman behind this diabolical scheme?
