Iranian Sunni clerics: ISIS militants aims at promoting Islamophobia

A group of Sunni Friday Prayer imams and clerics in interviews with Mehr News condemned Takfiri-Bathist ISIS criminals in the region.
Mulla Mohammad Mohamamdi, Kemanshah Friday Prayer imam, said that the terrorist group which acts under the name of Islam in Iraq is neither Sunni, nor Shia.

Meanwhile, Javanroud Friday Prayer imam, Mamusta Ahmadi, said ISIS is after PSYWAR (Psychological Warfare) among Muslims. He also asked the global society to stand against such inhumane acts to stop killing of innocent people in Iraq and Syria.

Another western town Friday Prayer imam told Mehr News that ISIS with its mass slaughter in Iraq and Syria, makes efforts to eliminate Islamic symbols.

Mulla Rashid Sanaei added that it is crystal clear that ISIS is created by the US to promote Islamophobia in today’s world.

Mula Nemat Hosseini, another Friday Prayer imam of Iranian western towns said that ISIS tries to show a wrong and inverted face of Islam with scheduled plans and deeds in Iraq and Syria.

They asserted that western countries created and trained ISIS as an anti-Islamic movement but no Muslim and no human being gives credit to their deeds.

Many Sunni and Shia scholars and figures have so far condemned ISIS acts as anti-Islamic and have highlighted unity among all Muslims, reported Mehr News.
