The incident took place near Wenzhou, in China’s Zhejiang Province, when the driver stopped to visit a local mountain.
However, after parking on a slope he forgot to put the handbrake on.
He had left the vehicle for less than a minute when he says he heard a loud ‘pang’ sound.
‘When I looked back, my vehicle disappeared. I immediately ran over to the edge of the cliff and found my vehicle hanging on top of several trees.’
Rescue workers then faced the difficult job of retrieving the vehicle, which was eventually done using a large crane.
