Public Health spending $20Gs on Toronto branded condoms

TORONTO – Toronto Public Health is shelling out $20,000 to give away 288,000 Toronto branded condoms. Health officials announced Tuesday they’ll be unveiling the condomTO – a free, limited edition condom – next month.

The condoms will be available at bars, clubs, hotels, gyms and clinics across the city.

Public health already gives away around 3.4 million condoms a year but Barbara Macpherson, Toronto Public Health’s manager of health promotion, said the condomTO campaign is meant to “reinvigorate and normalize condom use.”
