Mosaic Of Diversity Alert – “Al-Aqsa and al-Quds are in need for mujahideen, not tourists”: Meshwar’s editor & Palestine House board member

Dr. Nazih Khatatba, editor of Meshwar Newspaper and a board member of the ‘Palestine House’ in Mississauga, penned this week an editorial bearing the following headline: “Al-Aqsa [Mosque] and [the City of] al-Quds [Jerusalem] are in need for mujahideen [jihad fighters], not tourists.”

In his editorial (Meshwar, Issue. 103, May 2, 2014, p. 5) Khatatba writes the following:

“Muslim scholars, who recently attended a conference in Amman [Jordan] in support of al-Quds [the Arabic name of Jerusalem] under name of ‘The Way towards al-Quds,’ did not find other way to support al-Quds but by issuing a controversial fatwa [Islamic edict] giving Muslims [living outside of Palestine] a permission to visit al-Aqsa Mosque.
