Five British soldiers believed to have been killed in UK helicopter crash in Afghanistan

Five British military personnel are thought to have died when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed in southern Afghanistan today.

The Taliban claimed to have shot the aircraft down but military sources said no enemy action was involved.

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed a UK helicopter has crashed and that it is investigating the circumstances.
