Were Alexander the Great and Aesop Muslim?

I saw this at Gary Rumaine’s site, and in his robust style Gary substituted “arselifters” for Muslims in the title, and well… I wasn’t focusing and so I just vaguely assumed he was talking about gayness. The old “everyone in history except Hitler was gay” routine.

After all those guys were Greek, and, well, you know. *

But no, because the Muslims have an arguably more demented version of this everyone-was-one-of-us weirdness going on. Aesop, who is a semi-mythological figure, and Alexander, who was born almost a thousand years before Mohammed: apparently they were Muslim.

I mean, sure, why not?
