Unusual Persian carpets

Custom officer Stefan Schornagel shows lines of a woven carpet lined with heroin. The customs at Leipzig Airport have prevented the smuggling of a total of 100 lb (40kg) of heroin in January 2014 within five days. The drug was woven into nine carpets from the same consignor that arrived by air from Iran, destined for Poland, France, Belgium and the Congo. The value is estimated at several million euros due to the very high purity of the heroin.
