More: Der Spiegel with over-the-top call for attacks on Assad. No suspicion at all of rebels: “But experts doubt the rebels could have weaponized the chemicals found there. As poison gas specialist Stephen Johnson points out, enormous amounts of chemical agents are needed to kill hundreds of people, a feat impossible for the insurgents to pull off.”.

Just a reminder that the Japanese Aum Shinrikyo made their own sarin gas from scratch. True, they had a chemist in their ranks, but there are a lot more rebels than there ever were members of Aum Shinrikyo.
