While Ontarians are angry at Premier Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals for e-Health, ORNGE and the gas plants controversy, they don’t have enough confidence in the PCs. Hudak has had too many missed opportunities, and too many electoral failures. His political and economic message hasn’t resonated with the general public.
Hudak must, therefore, take full responsibility for this perception. For the good of his party and Ontario’s conservative movement, he should do the honourable thing and step down as PC leader.
