Boy that sound’s like the sort of MultiCulty Diversity and fellowship our Great Leader Kim Dong Wynne just adores! But something tells me “culturally sensitive” means different things to different communities. In this case it appears you spent 150K for a Sharia compliant gym.
Below is an email released to the NAMF mailing list today. It’s a diatribe against the Canadian Council Of Imams. NAMF would appear to feel “excluded” from the council in Justin Trudeau’s words. NAMF warns that that the Council is in serious violation of Allah’s will and rebuts the councils positions on matters of policy – “you have on CCI’s wesite an alien creed, even contrary in some regards to the normative and mainstream Islamic understanding of the last 1400 years”.
Let’s have a look at the type of diversity your tax dollars are promoting in the following excerpts from the email… and ask yourself what would happen if a Christian institution had received that tax money…
The Council Of Imam’s says: The sanctity of human life overrides the sanctity of religious laws.
NAMF says: A strange statement coming from the imams! If human life is sacred above and beyond divine laws, how is one to make sense of divine commandments concerning retribution (qisas), hudud laws dealing with apostasy (irtidad), war (qital), terrorism (irhab), convicted homosexuality (liwat), treason (ghadar), etc, all of which merit capital punishment? The statement seems to trump man-made humanism over a wahi-based religion. If true, the greatest violator would have been none other than the Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon him) himself; May Allah forgive us!
The Council Of Imam’s says: …every society must be allowed to express and celebrate humanity’s profound cultural diversity, as long as the expression of that diversity does not include the compulsion of any individual to violate their own human rights, or their personal values, or their human nature, or otherwise threaten the common good of all people.
NAMF says: The encouragement to “express” and “celebrate” humanity’s “profound diversity” so long as ones’ human rights, personal nature or the idea of common good are not violated – appears to be a tacit concord with the gay lifestyle. If so, this is a testimony to the Council’s blatant ignorance and heedlessness. If not, one wonders as to why the human nature, personal values, public good, etc., are touted as the yardsticks of good behaviour, but no mention is made of the sacred law.
