A Tulane professor and MSNBC host named Melissa Harris-Perry, in a video(below), suggests that your children do not belong to you, but rather, they belong to the collective. If only we can “break through the idea that children belong to their parents or kids belong to their families,” she says, then we can make “better investments” in public education.
Racine superintendent’s shocking comment about black parents
“They don’t know how to make good choices for their children. They really don’t. They didn’t have parents who made good choices for them or help them learn how to make good choices, so they don’t know how to do that.”
Is this stunning arrogance typical of the educational establishment? Do they all think they know what’s best for students and parents are just mere rubes?
