Vegetarian jihad takes down Taco Bowl’s controversial Super Bowl ad: Carrots kick beef’s behind

It’s official: People have too much time on their hands.

Taco Bell has surrendered to a vegetarian jihad in response to its latest anti-carrot-and-friends Super Bowl commercial.

The ad, which shows a woman joining a game day gathering carrying a pre-packed plastic container of raw plant consumables when a voiceover states that bringing vegetables is a “cop-out and secretly, people kind of hate you for it,” has been pulled after a health advocacy organization exerted pressure and roused a veggie army to tweet their complaints on Twitter.
