Pakistan to outlaw custom of “Ghag”
PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly passed a bill against centuries-old ‘Ghag’ custom, whereby a man can claim the right to marry any woman of his choice without her consent.
Meanwhile, this bit of advice to women is just in from my friends at Serenity Fountain in Turkey:
“Stealing is one of the grave sins. Most women have been seized by this sin. Very few women have escaped the subtle particulars of stealing. Those women who spend their husbands’ possessions without their husbands’ permission become thieves. Without hesitation, they will unfaithfully steal others’ possessions. If we think well, we will realize that this is so.”
