Canada Imposes Sanctions Against Iranian Revolutionary Guards – The Ahlul Bayt Society Should Be Next

OTTAWA — Canada is dropping the gloves with Iran and going after the Islamic republic’s most feared and powerful paramilitary force, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird announced Tuesday that the government is slapping sanctions against a range of Iranian entities including economic sectors that indirectly support or provide funds to Iran’s nuclear program. This includes Iran’s oil and gas, mining and metals, and shipping sectors.

But the most significant change was the decision to target the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, a move Jewish groups in Canada have long called for.

Good news but operating within Canada is the Ahlul Bayt Society: the Ahlul-Bayt Foundation, a radical Shia Muslim proselytizing and political lobbying group presided over by the Iranian government. Ahlul-Bayt already runs around 70 Islamic centers around the world, and has as its primary goal the promotion of the religious and political views of Islamic radicals in Iran.

The Ahlul Bayt Society in Canada is run by the same people who brought you Al Quds Day, CASMO and the East End Madrassah. One of the Canadian branch’ founders Maulana Sayyid Muhammad Rizvi preaches death to apostates and sanctions the marriage of 9 year old girls. Most recently Rizvi participated in a Khomeini love in at Carleton University sponsored by the Iranian Embassy.  In this video Rizvi may be witnessed preaching at Friday prayer’s against the Canadian government’s support of Israel.

While I welcome the new sanctions against the Revolutionary Guards and the Basij I urge the Canadian Government to continue to identify individuals and entities residing in Canada, who are affiliated with the Islamic Regime in Iran, and to freeze their assets and review their immigration files and make sure they do not create a safe heaven for themselves in Canada!
