Human Rights Complainant Sues Human Rights Commission For Violating Its Own Edicts

MONTREAL – Effy Louridas was on her way to a mediation session over a human rights complaint against a drugstore chain when she encountered yet another obstacle to life in a wheelchair: the access to Human Rights Commission offices themselves.

As a result, a complaint has now been lodged with the organization that is supposed to fight for people’s rights. Either get your landlord to create proper wheelchair access to the building or move to another address is the gist of the complaint filed on Monday.
