Is Anyone Happy With C-30 The “Surveillance Bill”

In light of events such as Caledonia where the police have been used as a private political army and the lingering stench of the human rights commissions assault on freedom, does anyone buy the Fed’s assertion that warrant-less access to internet users private data won’t be abused by police and government?

More here at the CBC which has a copy of C-51, and at the NatPo. The more I read the worse it gets.

The video is interesting, at the end of the day this remains a sinister piece of legislation.

Note the Kill Section 13 Bill will get a 2nd hour of debate this evening starting at 5:30.
