McGuinty Government Grants School License To Muslim Academy Whose Founder Was Accused Of Polygamy & Sexual Abuse Of Student!
My original post concerned this story from Chatham Ontario: Local Muslim questions motive behind Islamic school, I started to dig around into the background of the Darul Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo NY which was founded, and continues to be run, by the same family behind the Chatham Ontario school.
Lo and Behold! Look what turned up, The McGuinty Government has granted a school license to a pervert accused of polygamy and sexual abuse of a student:
“Principal of Islamic school in Buffalo ousted over sex allegations,”
by Mark Sommer for The Buffalo News, August 20, 2010:
The principal of an Islamic boarding school on Buffalo’s East Side has been forced to resign after allegations that he was sexually involved with one of his students and that he claimed to have taken her as a second wife….Evidence suggests Mohammed Ibrahim Memon, a father of seven, persuaded Sajidah Khan, then 21, to marry under Islamic law as a pretense to sleep with her….
Mohammed Ibrahim Memon, who now goes by the name of Sheikh Ibrahim Memon Madani remains a large influence at the Buffalo school where his lectures are prominently featured. Sheikh Ibrahim Memon Madani, along with his his father, is listed as a founder of the Darul Uloom School in Buffalo New York.
That these maniacs were granted a license doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the vote whoring antics of the McGuinty government, which has gone out of its way to court Islamic extremists. Will anyone lose their job over this? Somehow I doubt it.
This is rich, again from the Buffalo News article, Mohammed Ibrahim Memon aka Sheikh Ibrahim Memon Madani, is author of “The Book of Purification”
The Darul Uloom schools are no stranger to controversy as reader Muni points out.
Below is the original post that initially piqued my interest in this school. Note that a recent terrorism case also has a link to the Buffalo madrassa.
Chatham Ontario: Local Muslim questions motive behind Islamic school
“A local Muslim is speaking out against the Darul Uloom private Muslim school in Chatham and has questions about those running the school and their motives.
Mohammad “Mike” Jawad, 70, a local pharmacist, is concerned about how the school is conducting its business and fears the repercussions to the community if a Darul Uloom student is ever linked to a future terrorist attack.”
Mr. Jawad may have good reason to fear the establishment of this school in Canada if this is an indication of the type of Islamic scholars it produces:
Terrorism charges color Khan immigrant saga

“By his early teens Izhar had decided on a religious life, and went to boarding school at Darul-Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo, N.Y., a highly respected school where religion and the state public school curriculum are taught.”
This is the Buffalo School’s website. Hard Core Sharia. I wonder if the establishment of the Canadian school is a means of shuffling off from Buffalo…
More than “religion” is taught at the Darul-Uloom school, this document, Consequences of Debasing The Auliya-Allah, written by the schools founder Dr. Ismail Memon reveals a strong belief in Islamic separatism, yet another gift of multiculturalism:
“Therefore, it is important to assess, before establishing a relationship, the religious background of a person and to be assured that he is in line with the Shariah. If one is unable to ascertain whether a person is good or bad or if he acts upon the Shariah or not he should not stay in his company at all.”…
Dr. Mohammad Ismail Memon Madani one of the founders of the school has also written this book – Hijab “I found the book useful in some ways but very confusing in others, and didn’t appreciate the stereotyping of Western women. I’m a woman of the West, proud of it, and am not mired in a culture of endless, brainless lust.”
WTF? “One sin which has become common practice today is that of allowing the pants to hang below the ankles (isbaal). In light of the ahadith, we learn that this is a grave sin. “
The Darul Uloom Al Madania school encourages Jinn Drinking
TYPES OF JINN
“Allah (swt) has created different types of jinn. Among them are some who can take on different forms, such as dogs and snakes; some who are like flying winds with wings; and some can travel and rest. Sayyidna Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani (ra) said: “The messenger of Allah (saw) said: The jinn are of three types: a type that has wings, and they fly through the air; a type that looks like snakes and dogs; and a type that stops for a rest then resumes its journey”. (Reported by at-Tahhawi in Mushkil al-Aathar, 4/95, and by al-Tabarani in al-Kabeer, 22/214. with a saheeh isnad)”
