DVD reviews – Unknown, Limitless, Company Men, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

By Rick McGinnis: “It’s hard not to envy everything about Matthew Broderick’s Ferris except his fashion sense, which made sense only for about a month or so in late 1985. It’s also hard not to imagine where Ferris would have ended up; his charm and ease with rationalizations easily puts him in the middle of any of the stock market bubbles of the last decade and a half, and a part of me always pictures Ferris carrying a banker’s box of personal belongings out of Lehman Brothers in the fall of 2008, smiling to himself with the sure knowledge that no one will find out about the bank account in the Turks and Caicos.”
