My Afternoon of Kabuki Democracy

Update: Gay Hypocrisy at Toronto City Hall

“Yesterday afternoon, The City of Toronto’s Executive Committee held a hearing about whether to accept the City Manager’s report that decided the term “Israeli Apartheid” in Toronto’s Pride Festival does not violate the City’s anti-discrimination policy. As one councillor pointed out, this is an issue that really has relatively little effect on the City and yet takes up an inordinate amount of Council business.”

Tons of video, I will likely put together a highlight reel of all the speakers, sadly after nearly 8 hours and 2 drained batteries I was not able to get everyone who spoke against QuAIA on film – I got most but not all. It was a valiant effort by all in what now seems a pointless endeavor.
