What’s this? Why a Liberal Candidate wishing for a new Liberal Leader

Brooke Larsen, Jennifer Moreau, Burnaby Now

A local Liberal candidate says he hopes Michael Ignatieff will take over the party’s leadership one day.

Gerry Lenoski, candidate for Burnaby-New Westminster, made the comments Thursday, the same day Ignatieff was scheduled to appear in Burnaby.

Of course Lenoski quickly backtracked;) Asked to clarify his comments, Lenoski said he hopes Ignatieff leads the party “after a Dion government has been in power long enough to right the wrongs of the Tories.”

It’s fun watching Liberals self-destruct;)
