Whacko lawyer wants to hop on Human Rights Gravy Train, gee what else is new

Alan Whyte is applying for a position at the Ontario Human Rights Commission, he suggested in his interview that he will interpret Ontario Human Rights Law as he sees fit to suit his personal agenda. Gee but there are a lot of really stupid lawyers out there, let’s hope he doesn’t get the job.

His statement seems to contradict a high-profile clarification by Barbara Hall, chief commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission, in the case of an Islamophobia complaint against Maclean’s magazine, that the Ontario Human Rights Code “cannot be interpreted to include the content” of print journalism.
