Mounties challenge discrimination ruling, $500,000 award to expelled cadet

Mounties don’t want their man.

In requesting a Federal Court review, the Mounties argue the tribunal was wrong to find that Tahmourpour was harassed or the victim of systemic discrimination.

They are also challenging the tribunal’s right to order the remedies it did.

“The tribunal based its decisions on an erroneous finding of fact or an erroneous inference that was not reasonable,” the judicial review request states.

The CHRT? Our CHRT? Erroneous findings? Unreasonable? Nahhh couldn’t be. Not with a man like Hadjis at the helm.
