Had crisis not erupted, the announcement likely would have waited another three weeks: a hallmark partnership between Jewish group B’nai Brith Canada, the GTA Faith Alliance and the Caribana festival to open 70 new learning centres and a music festival for black youth in the city.
The early announcement was the result of the Black Youth Taking Action rally which sparked controversy when its attempt to import racist hate-monger Malik Zulu Shabazz of the “Black Panthers” was halted. This mess was further inflamed by the bizarre statements of “Junior Shabazz in Training” Nkem Anizor spokesbaiter for Black Youth Taking Action blaming the “Jewish Lobby”,( My how Original), for denying entry to Shabazz.
A worthy effort lets hope it gets results. There are no shortage of positive role models for youth of any culture, faith or ethnic background in Toronto. It is a shame that the race baiters such as Ms. Anizor and Shabazz receive undue attention.
