UNESCO votes: No connection between Temple Mount and Judaism

In a 24-6 vote, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization on Thursday gave preliminary approval to a resolution that denies Jewish ties to its most holy religious sites: the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the vote stating: “The theater of the absurd continues at the UN.”

This is the same agency that Japan has recently voted not to support anymore. But don’t worry, I’m sure little Justin will step in with money.

  • Next UNESCO will prove the earth is flat.

ha ha. I was going to say the same thing but you beat me to it.

    • Alain

Ha, I commented before reading the other comments, so in a way you beat me to the punch.

    • Slickfoot The Deplorable

Absolutely… in order to be in agreement with the koran.

But only because it’s an irrational number.

Here’s all you need to know about UNESCO. It welcomed “Palestine,” a fictional country, as a member in 2011.

israel shuld expell all UN Personal out its controled Terytory.

I can’t believe that people actually take the UN seriously. It is nothing more than a corrupt cesspool controlled by Muslim and third-world tyrants and thugs. Netanyahu eloquently and concisely summed it up when he called it the “theatre of the absurd”.
Trump constantly talks about bad deals. The UN is probably the worst deal. We dump countless billions into the UN and definitely don’t get anything from it. End the UN now! Get the U.S. out of the UN!!!

    • Clausewitz

Most of the folks on this site have been saying that for years. Welcome to our little tea party.

      • caliroxanne

Yes, me as well. I wish the other 99.999999999% of the fools out there would read this site!

    • Slickfoot The Deplorable

Day Hammarskjold was the last honest broker in authority at the UN… it’s been all downhill since 1961!

  • Norman_In_New_York

The most appropriate Israeli response would be to dump the status quo, expel the Muslim Waqf from the Temple compound and take full physical and political control over the Temple Mount. If the Arabs riot over this, send them packing with a whiff of grapeshot. And if the UN don’t like it, walk out. Taiwan is doing very well without UN membership.

  • Alain

They could also vote that the earth is flat and the result would be the same.

UNESCO has a hell of a lot of archaeological, cultural, literary and sociological evidence to re-write. Good luck with that.

The biggest lesson we can take away from this is that the UN has become a fringe Islamist organization, has passed its time of usefulness, and should be disbanded.

Trudeau will probably bestow more of my tax money on Hamas now that the UN endorses his agenda.
