Feminist PhD Candidate: Science Is Sexist Because It’s Not Subjective

Women and minorities cannot understand logic or objective truths, says a graduate student in her dissertation, so science classes should stop using the scientific method.

College science classes are hostile to women and minorities because they use the scientific method, which assumes people can find reliable truths about the natural world through careful and sustained experimentation, concludes a recent dissertation by a doctoral candidate at the University of North Dakota.

  • Spatchcocked

Well, to be fair she’s right about the first half of her thesis….but then again all Cretins are liars.

    • Millie_Woods

She should have listened to her father and got into porn.

      • Justin St.Denis

Had she majored in history, she might have become aware of Marie Curie. Wouldn’t that have been an awakening for her?!!

  • Editor

    2+2 will eventually equal 5. Damn post-modernists.

  • Millie_Woods

The observation method is still the most reliable way to separate normal people from idiots. No experimentation needed, they self-identify.

  • Hard Little Machine

She’s not a PhD in any science though. A doctorate in ‘education’ is barely better than being a teacher in any public school.

If I finish my dissertation in Math should it be about feminism?

    • canminuteman

The problem is that she will take her PhD in education and use it to destroy the education of the next generation of children so they will likely grow up to be idiots like she did.

  • Middle Englander

Subjectively, all observations are objective. Or, to put it in the vernacular “This subjective biological organism is, objectively, as thick as two short planks and should be institutionalised before it it escapes into the community at large and becomes a politician.”

Sort of, I suppose, depending upon how one interprets Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.

I think that over half a century ago I should have switched to gender studies from what is now known as STEM as I’m subjectively certain that objectively it would have given me…Ahh!, sod it, I simply can’t keep up with the cretinous drivel these intellectually challenged drones keep spouting in order to qualify for a lifelong career flipping hamburgers. 🙁

    • Justin St.Denis

Superbly written and definitely inspired! Kudos to you!

  • DonaldDouglas

Thanks Blazing! I like E.D. Hirsch especially!

  • disqusW6sf

No wonder there is such poor research.

  • Ed

“…I explored STEM syllabi to understand how linguistic features such as stance and interdiscursivity are used in the syllabus…”

Verbal farting… and yet… who doesn’t want to see the maiden voyage of feminist airlines???

    • Editor

Careful, aeronautical engineering is probably sexist. Those measurable, reproduceable high and low pressure zones below and above the wings that create lift are surely “hostile to women and minorities”.

      • Exile1981

Plus the long skinny shape of a fuselage is reminiscent of the unrealistic shape men expect women to obtain. It would be less sexist if airplanes where squat and round with odd bulges.

      • andycanuck

Only bras create lift and that’s sexist!!!

        • Editor

And separate . . . For the Patriarchy!

          • andycanuck

            Bullet bras kill!

    • The Deplorable Rosenmops

Interdiscursivity = Steaming pile of shit.

    • BillyHW

I think you mean verbal queefing. They sound the same.

  • Norman_In_New_York

If only Madame Curie were alive for this intellectual defective to bitch to.

    • Frances

      Not to mention Hedy Lamarr

      • Justin St.Denis

Not that many people know that Hedy Lamarr had great games and a superb mind. I believe cellular telephone technology is based upon her early work in the area.

        • Frances

I hear she had great gams, too.

          • Justin St.Denis

Actually, that is what I had typed. My bad for not proofreading it before posting. 😉

  • simus1

    ” in the education dept”
Say no more, my white male scientific logic just kicked in and a definite conclusion as to the validity of ms clown’s thesis is being “formulurated” in real time.

  • Exile1981

So the scientific method is racist,? Fine then this ding bat can start being treated with leeches for dizzy spells and she can breath in the air of public outhouses for her next cough.

    • Frances

Don’t know about the dizzy spells, but the use of leeches is making a comeback. Their value has been scientifically proven

    • Justin St.Denis

Isn’t “dingbat” one word? It was when Archie Bunker called Edith by that name. I think it was “sexist” too. Sigh.

      • Frances

Only sexist if you say “dingbatess”.

  • Jay Currie

Glad we got that cleared up.

Physics is hard therefore sexiest. F=ma is nothing but a racist patriarchal social construct. When a woman hits a wall doing ninety, the wall, politely avoids the macro-agression of splating her brains about the car.

I’ll make sure to tell my wife.

  • Minicapt

Perhaps not UND, but the “University of Southern North Dakota at Hoople”

    • andycanuck

Oh. Fictional college setting. Never mind.

  • xavier

    What a deeply insulting academic
So the darkies and wymyn are too stupid and ignorant to learn the hard sciences.

Yeah not much that different than what Hitler wanted to do with Poles or Pol pot almost succeed with the Cambodians.

She should be made to defend her dissertation with real women and minority scientists

  • JohnfromToronto

There can be only one response to this: WTF?

  • BillyHW

A woman who knows how to bake and sew is infinitely more useful than a Ph.D. in feminism.
