The War On Guns: Your Guide To Fighting False Media Narratives And Anti-Second Amendment Rhetoric

Dr. John Lott is the go-to expert when it comes to crime data and Second Amendment rights. His studies from the Crime Prevention Center have been cited in numerous pieces, including ones published here on Townhall, about the Left’s incessant, and often ridiculous, efforts to strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights. His studies have proven that contrary to what the anti-gun Left says about concealed carry holders, they’re actually more law-abiding than law enforcement. It proved to be useful data when the Violence Policy Center, an anti-gun outfit, decided to push the narrative that concealed carry holders were killers by fudging the data between convictions and trials pending. The VPC combined the two to cook the books. As any lawyer would know, there’s an explicit difference between a conviction and a pending trial. He’s also taken a stab at the whole myth about background checks, which isn’t the magic bullet to creating safer communities.

A bit of trivia for BillyHW’s benefit: John Lott, apart from being the go-to guy on gun rights, also did a major study on the effect of the female franchise, and showed how it resulted in the massive increase in size and reach of government that we see nearing its end-game today.

He was also a colleague of Barack Obama’s at Harvard, and has recently, in interviews, recalled his impressions. Basically – and to no one’s great surprise – Obama affected an air of haughtiness in order to avoid having to engage in discussions with anyone other than fellow travellers. (Lott tried to have collegial talks with him, only to be rebuffed each time). Obama at least had enough wit to keep quiet and not be exposed as a Bart Simpson who somehow got put into the smart kids class. That little true knowledge seems to have evaporated over time, as he has gone from success to success.

The fascist elites who control the mainstream media exploit criminal gun violence to make a profit while at the same time stigmatizing private gun ownership, notably defensive gun ownership, as they naturally want to deprive the lower classes of the practical means of defeating the security forces they control. They promote copycat shootings and relentlessly push for more restrictions in a manner they never do with most other objects like vehicles despite atrocities like the truck massacre in Nice, France, in which 86 people were killed and 434 injured; hence no media campaign to restrict vehicle ownership or put speed limiters on all such vehicles. Vehicles are not a practical means with which to defeat the security forces these elites control.

The monopolization of force by the state is the most dangerous of all monopolies. Competent adults have a right to possess the practical means with which to fulfil their social duty to help defend democracy and minorities, and in so doing helping deter tyranny and crimes against humanity. Every able-bodied adult civilian of good character is a member of the unorganized militia and should, at the very least, possess the same type of rifle commonly used by soldiers in their nation. In the US that would be an M4 type rifle like the ‘FN 15 Military Collector M4’. Ideally they would also possess a pistol like the Glock 19 as well.
