Daily Affirmations with Justin Trudeau

Rex Murphy: Justin Trudeau’s UN address was a meaningless speech to a worthless body

“…This week, it was our dewy-fresh prime minister’s turn to address this esteemed body and, either out of vanity or innocence, he didn’t turn down the invitation. As to the substance of his effusion, one would need an intellectual Geiger counter to find any. The speech was described by the National Post’s John Ivison as “thin as soup made from the carcass of a starving pigeon.” And that’s being generous.”

“I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is”

I am some what different. I just have to urge to pound the shit out of his mug making sure to take a good shower afterwards to wash off the filth.

Tell us what you really think.

  • Alain

There is no substance to be found concerning any topic when it comes to the man-child. I always said the same about Obama which is why I say Trudeau is just a pale version of Obama. Both are empty suits without substance; like a book with a fancy cover and blank pages. Both appeal to the same type of voters; voters without substance.

  • All it would take is ONE major country to withdraw from the UN.

Harper should have withdrawn but did not.

The UN will not award Trudeau a seat or anything significant but he is a useful idiot.

    Commenter Adrian Sjoberg says:

“In a world where sympathy is valued more than solutions, Trudeau & the UN are global leaders in rhetoric, and global failures in response.”

Thanks, Adrian. That about sums it up.

I can’t decide what I enjoyed reading more on this lazy Saturday — Rex or the comments.

Rex’s lyrical erudition soars like a literary Artie Shaw in comparison to say, perhaps, the constipated renderings of Conrad channeling Goodman.

And I love watching Liberal heads explode, even if it’s only in a virtual world.

Do you have a preference of Shaw over Goodman? I like ’em both, but I’m no artist.
OT: a tribute to Merle Haggard tonight…here in Annapolis Royal.

I was introduced to Big Band by an old boyfriend (much older than me) and that was how I discovered the old greats of that era. When I heard Shaw for the first time, I went a little crazy and read everything about him that I could get my hands on. I think what amazed me, was that I heard the Klezmer in his music. I found out later that he was born Arthur Arshavsky.

As for Merle, poor Merle. I envy you if you are going to the tribute tonight. He was supposed to perform just before Dwight at the Dauphin Country Fest on Canada Day weekend, but unfortunately, his old ticker just gave out. I had toyed with the fantasy of going through unbelievable expense and hardship to get there. Dwight, however, is doing an unprecedented 9-day tour of Western Canada next month. I am planning on hearing him when he does Edmonton. I have often wondered why Dwight chooses to do Western Canada, which he does fairly often and seems to ignore the Maritimes which are culturally much closer to his musical roots.

I do not know if you have heard his new bluegrass album, so here is a link in case you have not:

I am sending a link to the piece Dwight wrote for Rolling Stone on Merle. BTW, how did you like the album.

Good article and comments. I haven’t seen any comments from David Murrell. Hope he is doing well.
