Top Clinton aide Cheryl Mills granted partial immunity in email investigation

“This is beyond explanation. The FBI was handing out immunity agreements like candy,” House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said Friday in a statement. “I’ve lost confidence in this investigation and I question the genuine effort in which it was carried out. Immunity deals should not be a requirement for cooperating with the FBI.”

You grant immunity to lower people in order to gather enough information to convict higher ups. But the FBI has already said it has no intention of charging Hillary with her crimes. So then what is the point of granting all these other lower downs immunity? It’s because even though they are guilty of lesser crimes, in any sane world they would also be strung up on charges. So everyone must be granted immunity and the whole affair flushed down the toilet.

However immunity isn’the immutable. If there was bad faith or quid pro quo then the plea agreement is invalidated ab initio and nul de nullité absolue.

And that’she the attitude the prosecutors need to take. Immunity isn’t part of the 10 commandments

If Hillary gets elected, the inscription on the Supreme Court building will have to be changed from “Equal justice under law” to “What difference at this point does it make?”
