Canadian Mint employee accused of smuggling $180K of gold in his rectum
That would be about 60 coins given the value of a 1oz coin on the mint website.
Okay, I’m putting an end to this asinine tomfoolery!
While it’s good to know that the RCM is providing employment to the intellectually challenged, it’s hard to escape the strong suspicion that this guy was being used. The news story says that he was sending money out of the country. My spidey sense is going ding-ding-ding. Of course, this could well be overlooked because he will be the butt of too many bad jokes.
QUOTE Investigators also found a container of vaseline in his locker and the trial was presented with the prospect that a puck could be concealed in an anal cavity and not be detected by the wand. In preparation for these proceedings, in fact, a security employee actually tested the idea, Barnes said. END QUOTE
Imagine having to ‘hoop’ some gold as part of your job. Just when you think you’ve heard it all!!!
Justin prefers to get paid that way.
No, you are confused.
He bought a gold diaphram for Sophie because there is nothing he likes more than to come into money.
Oh! Oh! Oh! Cymbals and rim shot. You win the thread Joker.
What’s especially amusing about this story are the pictures accompanying it showing large BARS of gold, rather than small coins/disks.
Have they identified yet his sexual preference?
Where do you think that “aspiring rappers” get those gold teeth?
…and selling the gold himself to a local Ottawa jeweler…what a moron.
Wouldn’t that set off the metal detector?
Given the fatness of the average contemporary ass, probably not.
They really made an ass of him.
I thought GOLDFINGER was a great flick. I doubt that GOLDENCHEEKS will be as much of a draw.
As fun as this thread is, on a serious note, I used to work in a Crown Corp. and we used to have to log in to the printers and photocopiers to help control paper usage. We had checks and balances for copy paper and this guy walks out of the Mint with 180k up his ass! What the hell kind of inventory / stock keeping procedures do these guys have?
