Machete attack on cop in Calgary mall, shots fired in Grand Prairie mall

Nothing has been released about either of these attackers; thus they could turn out to be “right-wing extremists.” However, in light of the Islamic jihad attack at a Minnesota mall yesterday, and the jihadi threat against malls in the West, the possibility that these, too, were jihad attacks cannot be dismissed out of hand.

If the story disappears faster than a dognut at a weight watchers meeting. Its a muzzie

    • Waffle

Witness said it was a “white guy” wearing a Blue Jays shirt and a red baseball cap.

My guess if one very pissed-off and unemployed oil-path worker.

      • Linda1000

Some muslims look more white than you or I – just saying. Wonder if we will ever see the name published. As you know, eye-witnesses are notoriously inaccurate in their descriptions and our press lies all the time these days.

      • robins111

Its possibly a pissed off white guy, but the default setting on these tard attacks is muzzie. I think I’ll stick with that for now.

        • Waffle

On reconsidering the whole thing, I’m inclined to agree with you. Too much of a “coincidence” when you factor in NYC and NJ. Also, if Machete-man were a “white guy”, his name and face would be plastered all over the media.

            you forgot this one: The
man who stabbed nine people at a Minnesota mall Saturday before being
shot dead by an off-duty police officer was a “soldier of the Islamic
state,” according to an ISIS-linked news agency.

Machete attack equals Muslim attack equals jihad.

What’s the count now? Mall of America, NJ Shore bomb, Chelsea bombs, stabbings in Minnesota, machete attack in Calgary. Busy weekend for the religion of peace!

  • andycanuck

I was assuming Native gang-bangers. I guess we’ll know once they release the names.

The CBC will remain to be stymied by the cause.

  • truepeers

I’d say it’s about 10:1 odds it’s that whacky mayor, a cry for help don’t you know.

    • andycanuck

I don’t know. I haven’t read any descriptions of either of the assailants being described as “a chubby little f#ck”.

    Trudope built this

    • Linda1000

Ottawa Feds have been importing this crap nonstop for the last twenty years.

As Trudeau would say, its those damn Italian grandmothers again

    • mobuyus

The Greek Grandmothers from Montreal had a hand in it as well.

Officer ‘severely injured’ after possible machete incident at northeast Calgary mall Saturday: Police

  • It’s not racism or Islamophobia when the public’s first thought is “Is it terrorism?”.
It’s reality, no matter what the SJWs and politicians say – and it’s their doing.

    • Editor

Well put. Stereotypes and opinions are not born in a vacuum. They are the result of observation and experience.

More and more I’m liking CPC leadership candidate Tony Clement’s proposal on voluntary community policing. We’ll have to wait to see where it goes.

It reminds me of the Washington DC Police Chief’s proposal to reduce fatalities in an active shooter scenario. She was the first to suggest it. If you have a firearm an can shoot back – do it.

    When calling 911 isn’t enough

That her proposal caught on fire in most of the open/conceal carry states. Police were giving courses to citizens so they could carry and not break the law.

    • Everything related to government works better at small local levels.

Having spent alot of time in GP I wouldn’t be to quick to blame Muslims. GP is a gang infested shithole with all the associated problems.

Calgary has a Muslim Mayor, much beloved by all the people of Calgary, from all over the political spectrum. Naheed Nenshi is the “Obama” of Alberta!

Must be a lone wolf tar sands cowboy who got fired for being drunk on the job.

  • marty_p

Global News website – they are actually allowing certain comments that disparage the origins of the “alleged” attacker. Their comment moderator must be on a day off.

  • marc in calgary

Regarding the Calgary kerfuffle, this mall (maul?) is in the area of Calgary with the greatest number of “those people” in it. See? I’m almost afraid to say muslims…

The CTV reported that the machete was 48 centimetres long… still no word on the perp.

    • dukestreet

I heard the cops say they couldn’t identify the attacker because of the YAJA.

  • FivePointSpurgeon

Of course it was Marlborough Mall. Right in the heart of Muslim Calgary.
