The principled, left-wing case against multiculturalism

Mainstream self-styled ‘progressives’ tend to think of multiculturalism and diversity as inherently good things – ideas that only the racist and bigoted would contest. Which is why Swedish sociologist Goran Adamson’s new book, The Trojan Horse: A Leftist Critique of Multiculturalism in the West, is such a welcome intervention. It provides a definitive critique of the ideology of diversity, and it does so from a progressive perspective. In particular, it shows how reason, freedom and individuality – the cornerstones of democracy and civil rights – are being undermined by the ideology of multiculturalism and its elevation of particular identities and rights over universal political freedom.

Liberals today no longer value freedom and individuality. Instead they value socialism and collectivism. When Hillary Clinton made the statement years ago about “it takes a village to raise a child” that is now the conventional thought process of Liberals today that individuality is an impediment to the greater good of society and the only way to prevent that is through greater government intervention in are lives.

    • It is a totalitarian world view.

Now, it takes a village to help Hillary into her van.

The ultimate aim of multiculturalism is the mixing of all the people of the world to the point where there are no longer any countries. This is necessary for one world government.

The Diversity religion supposes the excellence and equality of all cultures, which is clearly not the case particularly in the case of women’s rights in much of the third world, a major flaw showing the ideology does not stand examination.

Diversity immigration and the refugee ploy are just scams to import liberal voters who culturally prefer big government and less freedom. The left cannot convince free people to become commies like themselves, so new voters must be immigrated.

“reason, freedom and individuality” is undermined by any philosophy which says that everything you do belongs to ‘society’ by default.

So basically what it boils down to is that multiculturalism is racist. Not exactly a stunning revelation, that should be obvious to anyone scrutinizing it with clear eyes. That’s why leftists are so obsessed with “anti-racism”, they’re just fighting their own racism.
