MSNBC, Politico, Bloomberg, CNN, McClatchy and More Confirm: Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Campaign Spread ‘Birtherism’ About Barack Obama

NEW YORK CITY, New York — The mainstream media, from Bloomberg News to MSNBC to Politico to the Washington Post and more, have all confirmed: Hillary Clinton’s failed 2008 campaign for president did substantially further the birther movement.

His own books said he was the first Kenyan-born senator as long as that was convenient for him.

That’s the sound of a campaign imploding.

The whole birther question is pretty moot this late in the game.

The way Trump neutralized this contentious issue was brilliant. First he lures the press in by making them think he’s going to either apologize and show weakness, or get all conspiratorial and provide plenty of gaffe material. He makes them do his PR for free as they cover his event, waiting for him to get to the good stuff. Then right at the end, just “I am so over Hillary’s birther conspiracy. Peace.”, and mic drop as the media howl in outrage.

By getting that reminder on the record as to who started the allegations, he’s effectively taken it out of play. The media can’t use it to paint him as a tinfoil hat loon or lure him into off-message crazy talk without Hillary also taking a hit. And if they try to bring it up in the future, it’s old news and nobody will care.

All people are talking about is whether Hillary knew or did not know her staffers started the rumours during the primaries in 2008. Checkmate for Trump.

Not to mention the pundits who went on record denouncing Hillary’s 2008 birther allegations back when they were carrying Obama’s water. The way it’s all coming back to bite the media themselves in the ass is icing on the cake.

“Do you think he plans it all out or just makes it up as he goes along?”

There’s an unofficial contest going on for an appropriate name for a group of reporters after Trump rooted them this week, they are pointing out that cattle are in herds, birds have flocks, schools of fish etc.. the best name I’ve seen for a group of reporters is ‘A Gutter’

    • That is a keeper!

A ‘gutter’, as a collective noun for journalists… Brilliant.

Her fake indignation and haughty, condescending tone is absolutely nauseating.

Another day, another lie. So sayeth the Hilary.
