Super Trump!

Deplorably, Trump is Going to Win

The presidential election was over the moment the word “deplorable” made its run out of Hillary Clinton’s unguarded mouth. As the whole world now knows, Clinton told a Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender fundraiser Sept. 10, “You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables.’ Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that, and he has lifted them up.”

Hillary is road kill.

    I hope so.

Does this mean that sales of torches, pitchforks, guillotines, and rope are poised to take off? Perhaps I should look into realigning my portfolio?

      OK, actual LOL.

  • Thinking From First Principles

Here’s a thought I haven’t seen in the reactions to the remarks, but I think needs to be forcefully made. The things she listed – racism, etc. truly are deplorable. The remark is NOT aimed at those who actually are bigots in a variety of ways – what harm does name calling do to them? The intent of the remark is to intimidate everyone who is NOT “deplorable” but afraid of being called that. The intent is to make people afraid of social rejection for supporting Trump. It doesn’t matter that you support Trump for his policies on jobs, trade, defense, etc. but are not any of the “deplorable” things. The remark creates guilt by association and sets up ALL Trump supporters to be ostracized socially, at work, and anywhere else they go. That is the purpose, and it is a very powerful tactic if its not exposed for what it is. An overt attempt at coercion …

    • WhiteRabbit3

      Good point.

The reason such ostracization might not work is (1) many people like to think of themselves as being outcasts and renegades, and (2) people vote anonymously.

  • WhiteRabbit3

I give Clinton credit for having more discretion than Trump, but the press has run interference for her for so long that she has gotten sloppy with her lies and labeling.

    • GrimmCreeper

I think the words conniving, calculating and deceitful are more appropriate.

  • Tokenn

I don’t _like_ Trump but you’d have to be brain dead or a liberal not to see he’s a better choice than Hillary. And I think at least some of the liberals are starting to come around…

  • Clink9

I wear my deplorableness with pride.

    • WhiteRabbit3

“Deplorable” is a nifty word, and people like thinking of themselves as lowlifes — sort of like “punk.”

I think Hillary has created a thing.

      • Clink9

I’m wondering when the younger generation will go back to rebelling against the establishment. Teachers, news media, whatever.

They’re just a bunch of ball garglers now. Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.

        • mobuyus

          Ball garglers and meat snorkelers.

      • Slickfoot The Deplorable

        I agree. 🙂

  • The Butterfly

Trumps speeches have been very good in the past month, but is anybody showing them or watching them? I’m convinced that if most of America would just watch or listen to him, then he would win. He needs to buy some serious ad time, maybe even do a 30 minute Perot-style infomercial.

    • Maggat

I have watched a number of his speeches. They are well presented, to the point and sound as if he has the leadership talent to successfully govern America.
      Go Trump go.

    • lolwut?

Right Side Broadcasting on Youtube shows them.

They also make a point of scanning the crowds to show the size.

      • The Butterfly

But that only reaches the people who are looking for them.

        • Red-Pilled Conservative

Exactly. He needs to get on network TV in a manner like you suggested: something like Perot did. Start applying some serious pressure on Hilldog while she’s down.

        • lolwut?

          Then share them.
