McGill Student Warns Incoming Freshmen About ‘Disheartening’ Reality of Being Jewish on Campus

molly-harris-mcgillA Canadian Jewish student issued a warning Tuesday to incoming pro-Israel freshmen on the harsh reality they will likely face on campus for their religious and political identities.

In an op-ed in the Washington Post, Molly Harris — a third-year McGill University student — wrote about being singled out by anti-Israel groups and many of her “liberal peers” for her campus advocacy on behalf of the Jewish state.

“I’ve been called a ‘Zionist b***h.’ I’ve been told several times that Jews haven’t suffered…I’ve seen my friends mocked for their Judaism in crude, hateful language on popular anonymous social media platforms,” Harris wrote.

It will only be disheartening for real Jews, a group which is shrinking rapidly. So-called Jews who hate Israel, other Jews, and themselves are the hip new thing nowadays.

    • I suspect you are right.

    • caliroxanne

Not so sure about that. They are only “the hip new thing” in terms of them being tolerated as useful idiots. When they are no longer necessary or useful they are still Jews, no different from any other Jew.

Time to get loud and proud, Jewish people, and watch the lefties bring a moron to a MENSA fight.

I feel sorry for any Jewish kid stupid enough to attend the high school at Keele and Steeles in Toronto called York U.

As a taxpayer I get royally pissed when I read this kind of stuff. Where are those political pieces of shit that were elected? Oh, wait they’re too busy spending your money on junkets or their favorite pet project.

They should be all over this. For a start cut funding off to any educational institution that in any way permits anti-semitism. Further, Jewish students should take their case to the CHRC and get a judgement against anti-semitic groups on campus and against the university.

If none of that has an effect then it’s time to become militant and I don’t mean quietly either. Shut the place down. This nonesense is no longer acceptable, if it ever was. It needs to end.

    • The Liberals actively court the Muslim vote, in a couple of years they will be indistinguishable from England’s Corbynistas.

      • Jim Horne

So, with first-past-the-post voting soon to become history in Canada we will see the Liberals as a natural governing party for a long, long time.

Further, I guess that will mean that the Muslim Students Association will set the agenda for university and college activities and the Muslim Brotherhood will bring a Jizya on the rest of us.

Moreover, this means Clint Eastwood was right – we have raised up a “pussy generation”.

but, but …short pants trudeau is all about being beyond tolerance …

  • Justin St.Denis

Unfortunately, anti-Semitism has always been as Canadian as maple syrup. This fact really pisses off those Canadians who keep trying to assert Canadian cultural superiority over America. But there you have it, on a platter for all to enjoy.

Funny how anything anti-Western, anti-conservative, anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-white, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish/Israel is totally acceptable in schools and simply brushed off as campus activism, free speech and academic expression. If, however, if anything is said that may be construed as Islamophobic, anti-Third World (un-PC term), anti-illegal alien (veru un-PC), etc., then it’s a hate crime subject to severe punishment and even expulsion.
It’s great how tolerant the Left is!!!
