Why? “because of Donald Trump”. Yeh, splendid analysis.

“The value you get back from an employee who feels welcome and accommodated for their religious practices is immeasurable” unless you use negative numbers.

As an engineering technician I prefer the use of imaginary numbers.
It’s an amazing concept that quantifies the square root of a negative number.
We’d be stuck on Edison’s DC grid if someone hadn’t figured it out.

Our lecturer in electrical engineering hated imaginary numbers and considered it an unjustified intrusion by mathematicians. Better to stick with volts and amps.

          Don’t forget ohms.

In ac, reactive power is not an imaginary thing.
Imaginary numbers allow us to control that.
To counteract the inherent capacitance of transmission lines they run inductive motors to bring the reactive power down to zero.
Can’t figure that out without imaginary numbers.

Why do they assume we even want them to feel welcome?

NEVER HIRE A MUSLIM! You will get burnt every time!

  • Alain

Only in the West and non Muslim countries. Find me a Muslim country that does this.

Somehow that part of the conversation never comes up.

Meanwhile, employees are not allowed to wear crucifixes or have anything Christian.

Bell Canada has gender segregated Muslim prayer rooms in larger buildings. Corp HR publishes a “Religious Holidays” calendar for managers to assist in the accommodation of employees religious needs. Popeye’s chicken is often ordered to meet Halal requirements.

    • Dwaine Logan

and business that sells halal meat will not get any business from me. religion has no business in a work place unless it is a church

people need to pray on their own time
